Adrian Mills

Adrian Mills works in the often divergent worlds of media and education, and enjoys where they collaborate or collide. Currently Chief Executive of Myriad Learning, he was Chief Executive of London Gifted & Talented, creating multimedia resources for gifted students and training programmes for their teachers. The majority of Adrian’s career has been in the media. A dual British and Canadian citizen, he worked for 15 years in Canadian public service broadcasting as Executive Director of CBC Radio, Creative Head of CBC Television Children’s & Daytime Programming, and Managing Director of CBC online. Prior to that he was Head of Children’s and Education Programming for TVO, the Ontario Educational Communications Authority. An International Emmy Award winner, Adrian started his broadcasting career in BBC Children’s and Schools Television, where he directed a wide range of programmes including The Really Wild Show, Play School and Record Breakers. Adrian has a background in education and child psychology and is Vice Chair of the World Summit on Media for Children Foundation. He is a member of BAFTA, The Royal Television Society and the Radio Academy.
